May, 1960. A Holocaust survivor, grumpy Marek Polsky, lives in the desolate Colombian countryside. He spends his days playing chess and tending his beloved black roses.

One day, a mysterious elderly German moves into the house next door. Polsky begins to suspect that his new neighbor is.... Adolf Hitler.

However, no one believes him, so he starts a detective mission. As he gathers evidence, he will get closer to his neighbor than he would like. So close, in fact, that these two, despite their difficult past, may even become friends.
